Shiro collection is the result of a form finding research on sheet materials. The table lamp is characterized by essentiality: lamp base becomes the diffusor, allowing wires to pass inside, everything is solved using olny one material. The particular folding, totally hand made, gives required stiffness to the lamp, that is therefore very lighweight. When turned off, daylight emphasizes shades and facets, while, turned on, series of grey profiles leave unchanged its volumetric perception.
