The carbon fiber chainrings are the first product born with the Carbon-Ti brand. The carbon fiber body and Al7075- T6 hard anodized or titanium grade 5 teeth assure lightness, stiffness and wear resistance besides an unique aesthetic quality. EVO chainrings have a stiffer structure with ramps, pins and inserts allowing more smooth and precise shiftings. The study for innovative solutions for R&D Carbon-Ti department shows important news which can reach new benchmarks of excellence for the market. The patented technology used in the newest carbon fiber or titanium chainrings named “EVO” is proposed to make the shiftings even more smooth and precise. To do this some new elements have been applied to the main structure of the chainring specially shaped so that the descent of the chain from the largest chainring is exactly attended on the smallest gear. These inserts are made of carbon fiber for the X-Ring Al/Carbon EVO chainrings or technopolymer(Delrin) for X-Ring Titanium EVO chainrings. Besides, there are ramps realized in carbon fiber body combined with titanium pin for even better shifting performances.
