For the past 15 years he has been working as a freelance, designer and illustrator mainly in the automotive and food packaging sectors. From 2017 he decides to undertake a more material journey, complementary to his digital activity: having always cultivated a passion for design and prototyping, he decided to approach the world of artisan ceramics.

Concept:

DGsign Pottery is the brand created by Daniele Giovanelli makes ceramic objects. In the work process he tries to take advantage of the experiences developed in the various industrial sectors: the idea begins from 3D design. Afterwards he analyzes the possible technical problems due to the fact that the creations are often the result of the assembly of different articles and materials. The choice of coloring and finishing materials are the phases that complete the design process. The DGsign Pottery collection is composed of: house objects, ornamental or for food use. The finishes vary from "raku" (ancient Japanese cooking) to traditional glazing until the under-glazing coloring.
