Biography:

FCA is a family design studio founded by Filippos Perdikakis (architect) and his twin children, Christina (architect-industrial designer) and Alexandros (cnc operator, technologist and craftsman), in 2012 and it's located in Lamia-Greece. Driven by the same passion for design, we combine a multidisciplinary knowledge, from architecture, interior and product design, to hi-end technologies, materials and traditional crafts. We believe in the absolute synergy between architecture, which frames the space we live in, and product design, that completes that space with objects of everyday use. The principles in all design fields always remain the same..form, symetry, harmony, colours, materials, shadows, light...The only changing part is the scale, the production technology and the costs.

MOD 1

Mod 1 is a modern ceiling lamp,made of 206 pieces of laser cut polypropylene sheet joined by hand with 588 plastic rivets.

Spiny

Spiny is a modern ceiling lamp inspired by the sea urchin ,made by a repetitive module, of laser cut polypropylene sheet joined by transparent plexiglass tubes that create that spiny surfacce and also reflect the light.

MOD 2

Mod 2 is a unique ceiling lamp created to remind the traditional thread network we see in the traditional furniture making of greece and many other countries. Created by several pieces of laser cut polypropylene sheet joined by hand with plastic rivets.

Cylinder

The “cylinder” is a table lamp made of Giluform, a resin similar to concrete,a transparent plexiglass body and a led lamp that creates a uniform warm light.

Oblique

The “oblique” is a table lamp made of 3 corian pieces united by transparent plexiglass body and a led lamp that creates a uniform warm light.

Cube

The “cube” is a table lamp made of 4 molded Giluform(a resin similar to concrete) pieces, a transparent plexiglass body and a led lamp that creates a uniform warm light.

Isoform

Isoform is a unique handmade wall clock in equilateral triangle form with 33.5cm size made out of high quality plexiglas cut on lasr cutter machine combined with suede leather cords and a 4mm metal tube that connects all 3 sides (total thickness 3cm).It comes with a German clock mechanism, UTS Quartz, and operates with 1xAA battery.

Circle

Cyrcle is a unique handmade wall clock made out of high quality plexiglas cut on lasr cutter machine combined with suede leather cords (total thickness 3cm).It comes with a German clock mechanism, UTS Quartz, and operates with 1xAA battery.

T4 is a unique handmade wall clock made out of high quality plexiglas cut on lasr cutter machine combined with leather cords (total thickness 3cm).It comes with a German clock mechanism, UTS Quartz, and operates with 1xAA battery.

Lapse

Lapse is a handmade cylindrical table clock, made of a moulded guliform material piece and front face out of high quality laser cut plexiglas. It's top is decorated with crosswissed suede leather cord. It comes with a German clock mechanism, UTS Quartz, and operates with 1xAA battery.
