The distribution scheme, originating in the 1960s, included: entrance, long longitudinal corridor with rooms on the sides and terminal bathroom. The precise requests of the client, creating a large living area and creating a second bathroom, were decisive in the new design concept. The strategy implemented has produced, through the absorption of transit flows in the living area and the creation of a "dense" functional plug between the living and sleeping areas, a distribution and spatial rearrangement that fully responds to the idea of ​​home customer. The fusion of the spaces on the east side, equipped with large openings on the balcony, allowed to create a "passing" living area of ​​great "depth" containing the kitchen "cell"; the sleeping area, protected and isolated from the rest of the house, consists of the two bedrooms located to the west. The final solution can be defined as "open" due to the transformability of the spaces in line with that temporary dimension of living which is "added value" in the conception of contemporary environments.
