Inspired by the variable-geometry modular structure developed in the Rise coat rack, the family now evolves with a lighting element and a coffee table. In the Rise Table, six square aluminum profiles engage one another in a circular sequence forming a self-standing structure that supports the top. This intersection of the three-dimensional elements leaves the central part free allowing the introduction of a useful triangleshaped removable tray. This, in fact, is a container where you can store small objects or books and that can be separated from the main top if needed. The Rise Table is an interplay of geometric elements that widen from the triangular shaped center out to the structure. The top has the shape of an irregular hexagon and is supported by legs that certainly serve functional needs yet add character to the design. The peculiar hexagonal geometric patterns are visible through the grey smoked transparent plexiglass. for Danese Milano - 2014
