The consultation prefigured the place's and existing building's requalification according to a logic of refurbishing by a environmentally sustainable method. It was also necessary to redefine the overall image of the building characterized by a clear installation relating to 50's building trade, with orthogonal slats to a central link board. The plan prefigured the original concept's maintaining and development, with light changes inclined to create a spaces' and functions' hierarchy. The planning logic replies to the following objectives: Acknowledgement of the place's (Mediterranean) identity in his values and weakness; Architectonical archetype's observance; Formal cohesion; Connection to requirements and to activities' plan; Use's quality.
