This master bath was designed to celebrate the light and view; a running theme throughout this custom designed house on a bluff overlooking a bay. The plan is double loaded, utilizing the space efficiently and is intended to draw the user through the space, towards the north facing view. A seamless skylight over the shower appears like a void in the ceiling, evoking a feeling of stepping outside, while allowing the sunlight to move through the space throughout the day. The finish materials were chosen due to their simplicity, elegance and texture, as well as to coexist with the colors of the site, water and distant view beyond.
