ROBERTO MAURIZIO PAURA

Roberto Maurizio Paura has always been interested in artistic and creative fields. After his studies in restoration and cataloguing of cultural heritage, he decides to challenge himself by enrolling at ISIA ROMA, Higher Institute for Industrial Arts, to study Industrial Design.
During his student years, Roberto refines his design and communication skills. Creation, development and engineering of a concept become strong features of his design approach. He graduates with honors in Industrial Design in 2012. After the graduation Roberto decides to continue his studies, by applying to the specialization course in the same university, to learn System and Interaction Design aspects.
He collaborates with the university for several research projects in the field of Product Design and Design Community. During the first year of specialization, Roberto begin to work with Smart-I Srl, a company involved in the increase of efficiency of public lighting and data collection, through a special sensor: SmartEye.
In 2014, Roberto achieved the degree with honors at his specialization course. In the same period he strengthens his collaboration with Smart-I, becoming System Designer and Art Director for the company. His tasks at the Smart-I consist in improving the design of the camera and the optimization of its internal components. He is also responsible for the creation and the implementation of the interface system, and the corporate communication.
