ENRICO AZZIMONTI

Enrico Azzimonti was born in 1966 and studied at the Polytechnics of Milan, where we conferred the degree in Architecture in 1993. In 1994 he opened his Design Office, which is involved in Architectural Planning and Industrial Design too. In 1995 he attended a Master in Design & Management at the Polytechnics of Milan and started to engage himself and to experiment with the field of industrial design, together with architectural planning. Since 1998 he has been co-operating with the Catalan designer Jordi Pigem, whom he met at a Summer Session, hold by Hella Jongerius at the Domus Academy in Milan. His works of art have been shown at international competitions and  exhibitions (Young and Design, Folding Chair Competition, JVC New Generation Camera, Safety Frame Dainese, Surviving Fuorisalone, Food Design Guzzini, Opos, 100% Design, Salone Satellite of Milan, Biennale Internazionale of Saint-Etienne, Salone Nude of Valencia, The New Italian design at the Triennale of Milano, Ceramic Tiles of Italy Milano-Bologna), have been commented by press staff both in Italy and abroad and have been selected for three  editions of International Design Yearbook and for Adi Design Index 2007. Some of his works are shown at the permanent collection of the Museau de les Arts Décoratives in Barcelona. He has held some workshops in some Italian universities, such as the IUAV of Venice, the IUAV of San Marino, La Sapienza of Rome and by the Istituto Marangoni of Milan. Since 2006 he has been carrying out educational activities by the European Institute of Design of Milan, where he has been developing, together with his students, planning testing for GreenCross and companies such as Campingaz, Coleman, Tecnoargilla, TVS.Among his customers: TVS, Lavazza, Fratelli Guzzini, Pavoni Italia, Coop, Jvc, Diamantini&Domeniconi, Bilumen, Risoli, Demolli.
