The Studio Sandro Santantonio Design, born in 2004, works in the fields of Architecture, Interior & Industrial Design, Graphics, Packaging & Fashion Design with particular attention to the research of tendencies, the study of innovative materials and new technologies in the contract branch, in fashion and lighting industry. From the design of a product to domestic or contract interiors, from living room to the expo and the events, those are all subjects developed from the Studio thanks to the diversified experiences and competences of the professional people making up it. The Studio Sandro Santantonio Design counts various awards, such as the special mention Young&Design 2004 for the Flower chair, two special mentions Young&Design 2005 for the sofas line Dune and the lamps collection Zoe, the special mention Young&Design 2006 for the table Wave and the first award to the naval competition Abitare il Mare 2006 announced to the Seatec- Carrara Fiere, thanks to the project of a cruise ships luxury cabin and the special award “for the project that better has individualized innovative solutions in a logic of maximum simplicity” Young&Design 2007, won for the lamps collection Trinity that has received, in 2009, the mention to Compasso d’Oro. Recently, was added to the awards list the Good Design Award 2010, announced to the Chicago Athenaeum Museum, for the lamps collection Muse Multicolor, that has received also the mention for the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany 2011. The Studio has been invited, in the past, several times like guest during the design lessons to the Brera Academy of Milan, where from 2009 Sandro Santantonio gives an industrial design course; always in the teaching world, with 2008 started the collaboration with the institute ISAD of Milan, where he teaches product design. At the same time with its origin, the Studio Sandro Santantonio Design has acquired a partner – Andrea Cantù – that support Sandro Santantonio in all decision making besides handle to the communication division.
