Between innovation and elegance, the Italian high-end brand presents the latest news from the 2022 catalogue in New York

New York, May 2022 - In contrast to a sector that is still struggling to regain its pre-pandemic dynamism, the top brand Talenti, a reference point for Made in Italy outdoor in over 65 countries, is confirmed in pole position by landing at the Javits Center of New York with a wealth of news and excellent proposals.

On the occasion of the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF 15-17 May), Talenti will present for the first time in the States, some of the novelties of the Icon and Premium 2022 Catalog with furnishings by prestigious designers such as Ludovica + Roberto Palomba and Marco Acerbis.

Speaking of the most glamorous couple of Italian design, it will be possible to admire at Stand 737, the sophisticated George Collection that launches a virtual challenge to aluminium by betting on stainless steel. A material that is the common thread of the project that plays with shapes and proportions to communicate a sense of ethereal lightness from which to be lulled for moments of absolute relax. Completely covered with a slightly padded rope weave, it winks at the nautical world, a particularly strategic segment for the company and which offers endless inspirations.

The plus: A family of 17 elements in perfect harmony where the lava stone stands out as an innovative material, which is capable of combining with the various shades of the proposed fabrics, representing an original alternative to the more classic ceramic tops.

Inspirations that are also found in the Argo Alu collection which returns to aluminium to reinvent it in an original and contemporary way. Evoking the mythological legend of the ship that sailed between the Greek islands in search of the golden fleece, Ludovica + Roberto Palomba suggest a dynamism of the senses through a combination of aesthetic research and great compositional freedom.

The plus: The structure covered in elastic belts emphasizes the deep and welcoming shapes, joined to it by sled feet that create a magical suspension of the upholstery and proportions.

The Malè collection reflects and dialogues with geometric shapes, the most linear among the proposals of Palomba Serafini Studio. Straight and curved lines that transform into comfort for a family of modular and interchangeable furnishings that maintain style, tone and create intimate and convivial spaces.

The plus: The main feature of the Malè collection is its low seat, a rigid and squared structure, just like a shell, made in rotation moulding, for a versatility that is enhanced thanks to the upholstery.

Wood, a living material par excellence, is instead the protagonist of CleoSoft Wood, the latest born from the pencil of Marco Acerbis who on this occasion confirms the desire to create a deep bond between product and nature. The keywords are volume, shape and balance with the choice of colors and details that give a sense of authentic calm.

The plus: From the textile coverings to the cushions, everything appears soft and light. Noteworthy is the use of Accoya, an eco-friendly wood guaranteed for 25 years in saline immersion. Compared to teak or any other wood, it requires very little maintenance and is the perfect material for those looking for the natural beauty of wood, a sustainable and high-performance product.

Another preview that Talenti offers is the Leaf, the lightness of the petals of a flower and their elegance were the opening words for this new collection signed by Marco Acerbis which is inspired by nature in the most classic sense of the term. The careful but generous proportions combine with the comfort of a highly soft and sensual cushions that match the linear minimalism of the tables.

The plus: This collection introduces Vitter, the brand new sustainable and zero-emission material that Talenti has chosen for the surfaces of the dining and coffee tables. It is a new generation compact layered laminate without formaldehyde, recyclable and very performing. Vitter is also antibacterial, extremely resistant and suitable for direct contact with food. In fact, it is produced with FSC-certified cellulose-based papers and without the use of additional resins or glues, but only from raw materials from a chain of custody and certified sustainable supply chain.

Elegance and attention to detail are obviously the main features on which the entire Riviera collection created by French designer Jean Philippe Nuel is based. In particular, the lounge director's armchair, with its molded aluminium structure, the leather finish to support the backrest and the dense and full-bodied yarns used for the cushions, are testimony to how much this collection combines practicality and stylistic refinement.

The plus: Discretion is the watchword that rhymes with elegance. In fact, unlike similar models, in the lounge director chair there are no visible screws except the central compass, it is foldable and the leather insert enriches its lines. Bestseller in the nautical world, to which it is addressed in a particular way, responds to all the certifications that a sector as demanding as the naval one requires.

Conceived by the young designers of Studio Adolini, Talenti finally presents Kukà. This original collection, which includes lamps, tables and vases for in / outdoor, amazes for its ability to fascinate from the first glance. Whether on or off, it converts into a sophisticated and glamorous piece of furniture to illuminate evenings outdoors with class.

The plus: Innovative and eco-friendly materials combine in minimal and rigorous forms that can be combined with any style and environment. A double cylindrical body in Eco-cement characterizes the vases, available in two sizes. The methacrylate base of the rechargeable lamp, on the other hand, diffuses the light and supports the circular resin element, which transforms itself into a larger support surface in the coffee table version.

Each collection is a galaxy apart, a planet with its own rules and a well-defined style. However, each contributes to identifying Talenti as an ever-changing universe. Product families that include fixed and modular sofas, seats for every context, tables, lamps and coordinated accessories where stylistic research rhymes with that of materials. From Vitter to lava stone, passing through teak, Accoya, stainless steel and aluminium, for Talenti each object is a world unto itself.
